Bill and Jay Hinz (American, 20th century). A modern sculptural hooked wool wall hanging in a wide horizontal format in tones of blue, cream, and yellow/green depicting an ancient Roman scene with galloping stylized horse at center in front of typical classical architecture and two Roman Centurion soldiers at left each with spear in hand, the composition accentuated with varying heights and textures of wool pile, altogether to a wide copper tone modernist frame. Stitched signature lower left "HINZ". Overall approximately 18.5" x 73".
