Likely Italian, early 20th century. Palatial Rococo giltwood pier or console mirror having an elaborate rocaille carved frame, the serpentine pierced cresting with opposing C-scrolls, acanthus, floral garlands over a rectangular mirror plate within a beaded and leafy gadrooned border, the waist having projecting carved shell issuing flowers flanked by scrolling acanthus, the serpentine base with floral and acanthus carved brackets. Approximate height 79.75", width 48", depth 4".
