Hayes, dated 1879 , appointing George Gibson to Lieutenant Colonel of the Third Regiment of Infantry, 19 1/2" x 16", the second from Grover Cleveland, dated 1886 , appointing George Gibson Colonel of the Fifth Regiment of Infantry, 19" x 15 1/2", together with five carte-de-visites of Gibson and a printed memorial pamphlet to General George Gibson.
