Two Shaker Berry Baskets, possibly Hancock, Massachusetts, 19th century, one stenciled "A. B" on the underside, possibly for Elder Albert Battles of Hancock, ht. to 3 1/2, dia. to 6 3/8 in. Provenance: Similar baskets have been offered in the Karl Mendel Shaker Collection in 1988, the Collections of Joe M. Balthrop and Rudy Latas in 1998, and the Doug Towle Shaker Collection in 2005. Estimate $100-150 Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
