Cat's-eye and Slip-decorated Pearlware Pitcher, England, early 19th century, double lines of brown and white cat's-eyes on yellow slip field separated by a band of blue slip bordered by dark brown slip, the shoulder with green glazed rouletting, applied strap handle with foliate terminals, ht. 5 1/8 in. Estimate $800-1,000 Repaired chip on the tip of the spout, minor roughness on the rim, no obvious cracks or evidence of other repair.
