Turned Maple Adjustable Light Stand, New England, 18th century, with circular dished top and double candle arm on a threaded post continuing to a turned tripod base, ht. 24 1/4, dia. 14 1/2 in. Provenance: W.M. Schwind Jr., Rumford Point, Maine, 1973, to a Boston area collection. Estimate $600-800 very little warp to top, chip to finial (about half of it is missing) Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
