Green-painted Spill Holder, probably Massachusetts, late 18th/early 19th century, the paddle-shaped backboard above the rectangular thumb-molded box with divided interior, original surface, ht. 21 1/4, wd. 4 1/4, dp. 1 3/4 in. Provenance: An early Cohasset, Massachusetts, house. Estimate $1,500-2,500 minor touch up to dings, back painted green. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
