Mahogany Slant-lid Desk, probably Connecticut, late 18th century, the thumb-molded lid opens to a multi-drawer and compartmented interior centering a shell-carved drawer, on a case of four graduated drawers and scrolled ogee-bracket base centering a pieced pendant, refinished, (imperfections), ht. 44 1/2, wd. 39, dp. 19 in.
