Attributed to Karel Dujardin (Dutch, 1626-1678) Cows and Sheep Beside a Shed Unsigned, attributed on a presentation plaque, with a faint inscription in a later hand "A. de Jardin/...Bourgeault C.../...Bishop of Ely" on the stretcher Oil on canvas, 12 x 12 in. (30.5 x 30.5 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, minor old retouch to u.l. corner, fine craquelure. Provenance: The estate of George Way. Estimate $300-500 Numbered "C.C. 270" on the stretcher and the back of the frame. Also marked "FH317" with a black stencil on teh stretcher. Framed dimensions are 17 x 16 3/4 in.
