Pair of George III Mahogany Side Chairs, England, late 18th century, scrolling lambrequin-carved crest rails, pieced interlaced splats, slip seats with floral damask fabric, squared legs, ht. 37 3/4, seat ht. 19, wd. 21, dp. 22 in. Estimate $600-800 One with two butterfly repairs to splat and repair to right rear leg. Minor worming to seat rails. Later glue blocks.
