Blanc-de-chine Libation Cup, China, Kangxi style, rhino horn form, with undulating mouth rim, on an oval bisque foot, decorated with a dragon-and-cloud design on one side, deer, a crane, and a pine on the other, ht. 3 1/4, wd. 5 1/2 in. Provenance: Mary Andrews Wolff Collection since 1987, purchased from Dun King, Hong Kong; then by descent to the present owner. Estimate $700-900 repaired hairline crack to rim, some glazing flaws, minor firing crack. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
