Akasuke Ginbari Cloisonné Vase, Japan, Meiji period, bulbous form with slender waisted neck and small flaring mouth, decorated with a white rose branch with leaves against a red nanako ground, silver-gilt rim, signed "Ota jo" (Jinnoei Ota) in two notched double circles on base, ht. 7 1/4 in. Estimate $500-700 minor tarnishing to silver, surface wear to foot rim. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
