Maki-e Tobacco Accessory Box, Japan, early 19th century, rectangular with four feet to corners, depicting a fan shop with crowd in gilt, silvered, and polychromed lacquer, nashiji interior, signed "Kajikawa saku" with red pot seal on the cover top, with stand and box (damage), 3 3/8 x 5 3/4 x 4 in. Estimate $300-500 chips/losses to rim at corner of cover, crack to corner of cover, chip to rim of box minor crack to corner, minor chip to lip.
