Large Satsuma Dish, Japan, Meiji period, oval form decorated with a moonlit landscape with river and warriors on a bridge, mark reading "Dai Nihon Takiko jo Gako Joho" on base, ht. 1 3/4, dia. to 17 3/4 in. Estimate $300-500 surface scratches, glazing flaws with pockmarks and clay impurities. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
