Signed "Robert Indiana" in pencil l.r. of verso, stamped "© 1967 ROBERT INDIANA" and numbered "48/100" in pencil l.l. of verso. Screenprint on paper, image/sheet size 33 7/8 x 33 7/8 in. (86.0 x 86.0 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Minor crimps to corners, minor rubs (some with ink loss and primarily to edges), old hinges to verso near upper edge. Provenance: The collection of Davis Pratt, Curator of Photographs, Fogg Museum, Harvard University; then by descent to the current private collection. N.B. The Sheehan catalogue raisonné entry 39 discusses various editions of the 1967 Love. This entry mentions that an edition was printed to the edges of the sheet and measures 34 x 34 inches, but does not mention a numbered edition of 100 for this version. Estimate $2,500-3,500 There is a small stain to the verso near its upper edge. There are no further issues to report, but the images further illustrate the damage to corners and rubs to edges.
