Tornek-Rayville TR-900 Sterile Dial Dive Watch, c. 1964, stainless steel water-resistant antimagnetic dive watch with sweep center second hand made for the U.S. Navy, bidirectional revolving black Bakelite bezel with luminous unit indication, two piece screw-back engraved with military markings, "MIL-W-22176," serial number 0205, movement marked "seventeen jewels Tornek-Rayville No. TR-900," with brass dust cover, dia. 40 mm. Provenance: Military Artifacts and Collectables, military collectibles and surplus store in Berkeley, California, run by Mac West from the 1980s-2015. Estimate $25,000-35,000 the dial is not correct for a military issued sterile dial. winding stem is bent but currently winding setting and ticking.
