Gilbert Regulator No. 4 Wall Regulator, Connecticut, c. 1881, walnut and rosewood veneered case with a carved bust in arch, full-length arch-top glazed waist door, 8-in. roman numeral paper dial, eight-day, time-only movement with a deadbeat escapement and maintaining power, powered by a single nickel-cased weight and regulated by a pendulum with wooden rod and metal-faced bob, ht. 53 in. Estimate $200-300 Paper dial somewhat worn but original. Nickel plating on pendulum ball has worn off. Missing a side piece of base molding.
