Gale's Perpetual Calendar Wall Clock, 17-in. dia. outer bezel with hinged inner bezel, paper dial with time, day of the week and month, moon's age, and outer day of the month, marked "Gale's Patent/Feb. 14th 1871," hinged lower door with gilt and black reverse-painted tablet, original interior labels, eight-day time and strike brass movement, ht. 31 in. Estimate $700-900 original paper dial in good condition, case has been refinished, interior Welch label has some losses. Glass has some losses around bottom edge.
