Green-painted Brass-dial Tall Clock, Daniel Balch, Newbury, Massachusetts, late 18th century, the tombstone hood and glazed door with flanking quarter-engaged columns opening to a silvered and engraved dial lettered "Dan'l Balch/Newbury," and with an eagle above the motto "Tempus Fugit" in the arch, with applied brass spandrels and surrounds, all on a waist with tombstone door and bracket base, later dark-green paint, ht. 82 in.
