Four-color Homespun Wool Fabric, early 19th century, worked in black, red, blue, and orange, giving an overall dark earth tone, approximately 9 1/2 yards, (approx. 150 x 37 1/2 in.) Provenance: The Collection of Paul Weld, Connecticut. Estimate $400-600 The cloth is in good condition with no obvious holes or tears. There is some slight variation in the color which may be due to varying dye lots in the wooden threads as opposed to fading. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
