Two Pairs of Brass Petal-base Candlesticks, probably Birmingham, England, third quarter 18th century, one pair with trefoil pushups, ht. to 7 3/4 in. Provenance: The pair of pushup candlesticks Skinner, Inc., May 1975. Estimate $400-600 The regular petal base sticks are in good overall condition with wear from polishing, but no obvious repairs; one push up stick has a brazed repair to the base.
