Joab Hapgood Fowler, c. mid-19th century, .76 bore, walnut stock with a checkered wrist, steel fittings with a German silver wrist plate and nose cap, marked on the lock "hapgood" with foliate designs, barrel marked on the top "hapgood. Boston," with a wooden ramrod, barrel lg. 32 in. Estimate $300-500 Stock has a few dings and nicks and a small chip missing in front of the lock, and the lock functions properly.
