Model 1833 Horstmann Dragoon Saber, c. 1830s, steel hilt, wire-wrapped shagreen grip, marked on the ricasso "HORSTMANN/& SONS/PHILADELPHIA," blade engraved with foliate designs, "US," bell of arms, a Native American, eagle, and a panoply of arms, blade lg. 35, overall lg. 41 in.
