Hemenway Half-stock Fowler, c. mid-19th century, .58 bore, walnut stock with brass fittings, lock marked "WM. READ & SONS/BOSTON," top of the barrel marked "L. HEMENWAY," with a wooden ramrod, barrel lg. 36 in. Estimate $600-800 Stock has a few dings and nicks, and the lock functions to full cock without half cock.
