Cased 3rd Model Tranter Revolver, c. 1865-66, 120 bore, serial number 21239T, checkered walnut grip, blued frame engraved with foliate designs and marked on the left side "TRANTER'S/PATENT," top strap marked "MANUFACTURED. FOR. A.B. GRISWOLD. & CO. NEW. ORLEANS.," with velvet-lined case and ball tin, lubricant tin, caps, and tools, barrel lg. 3 7/8 in. Estimate $2,500-3,500 Grips are in good condition, gun functions properly, some loss of bluing on the cylinder and about 90% remains on the frame, case has some dings and nicks but in good condition.
