Federal-period Militia Musket, c. early 19th century, bore .73, walnut stock, steel fittings, Germanic lock with faceted pan, barrel marked at the breech with proof marks, barrel lg. 42, overall lg. 57 3/4 in. Estimate $800-1,200 Stock has a few dings and nicks, lock is missing the top jaw, the front barrel band is missing, and the lock functions properly.
