Alfredo Zalce (Mexican, 1908-2003) Acrobata, 1965, edition of 60. Signed and dated "ALFREDO ZALCE 1965" in pencil l.r., titled in pencil l.c., numbered "40/60" in pencil l.l. Color lithograph on paper, image size 23 3/4 x 19 7/8 in. (60.2 x 50.4 cm), framed. Condition: Not examined out of frame. Estimate $300-500 Out of the frame, the sheet measures 27 5/8 x 23 1/2 in. The image is gently light-stained. There are pale fox marks and soiling to the margins. There are minor crimps to the edge of the left margin, plus more (most about 1 in.) to the image that effect the surface of the ink (most visible in the thicker, black ink). The work has three Japanese tape hinges to the top edge and one to the lower edge (all recto) so the verso is not fully visible, but the sheet is NOT laid down. The frame measures 32 1/2 x 29 x 1 1/4 in. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
