Monumental T. J. Wheatley Marine-themed Albertine Vase, Cincinnati, Ohio, dated 1882, a dark blue barbotine ground, the rim and shoulder festooned with shells and seaweed, incised mark "Wheatley 1882," ht. 19 1/2 in. Estimate $600-800 Repair to conch shell, part of one shell missing. Scattered areas of losses to the seaweed. A few chips at the bottom.
