Wedgwood Black Basalt Teakettle and Cover, England, 19th century, trefoil bail handle to a circular shape with Sybil finial, the body with Bacchanalian Boys at play above an engine-turned band at foot, impressed mark, ht. 7 3/4 in. Estimate $500-700 Slight rim nicks along cover edge. No other evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
