Agate Pastille Burner and Cover, England, 18th century, traces of gilding to white terra-cotta foliate nozzle, laurel and berry festoons and dolphin tripod base set on a triangular stand, unmarked, ht. 7 3/4 in. Estimate $700-900 Nozzle heavily restored; no other evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
