William M. S. Doyle (Massachusetts, 1769-1828) Portrait Miniature of Charity Sanderson Wearing a Lace Bonnet Signed and somewhat indistinctly dated "Doyle 1813." Watercolor on ivory, 3 1/4 x 2 3/4 in., in a brass frame with loop hanger and oval aperture on the reverse, and red leather-covered case. Condition: Spots of white discoloration mostly on left half, glass needs cleaning. Estimate $200-250 Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
