Marshall Johnson (Massachusetts, 1850-1921) Barque at Sea Signed and dated "M. Johnson/78" l.r. Oil on canvas, 10 x 16 in., in a gilt frame. Condition: Minor inpainting to sky. Estimate $1,000-1,500 No damage. Minor inpainting in the sky, and there are minute losses in the lower left. It does not appear to have had any repair, and there is no apparent damage. It is pretty grimy. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
