First edition, octavo, inscribed on ffep, "To Miss Katharine Lee Bates with the heart's affection of Nicholas Vachel Lindsay, October 27, 1917, Springfield, Illinois; and I am remembering how much you helped me with Pocahontas and The Tiger Tree," with Bates's bookplate pasted inside the front board and a circular black morocco bookplate tooled in gilt with a post horn; bound in publisher's yellow cloth with pictorial stamping in blue and gilt on front board and spine, in good condition, 7 1/2 x 5 in.
