Sir, Pursuant to the inclosed Resolution I am to request Your Excellency & the Honble the Supreme Executive Council to draw an Order in favor of the Secretary of this Council, for the Sum of on hundred pounds, being the remainder of the Sum appropriated by the Genl Assembly, to defray the contingent Expenses of this Board. I have the Honour to be with the highest Respect, Sir, Your Excellencys most obdt humble Servt. Frederick Muhlenberg, Presdt." Together with a British military commission printed on velum appointing George Pearson, Esquire, "Barrack Master to the Barracks for the Forces of Great Britain," dated Carlton House, 27 August 1812, Signed George III, with embossed seal, 9 1/4 x 13 1/2 in.
