Cartier Basculante Mécanique Stainless Steel Wristwatch, engine-turned roman numeral dial with blued-steel hands, winding crown located at the top of the swing-out and pivoted frame, reference 2390 manual-wind movement, on a Cartier signed leather strap, 37 x 25 mm. Note: In 1932 the Tank Basculante was released by Cartier, a year after the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso. The case designs are similar, but the Cartier example adds an additional pivot on the frame. Estimate $2,000-3,000 currently winding setting and ticking, overall very clean example with little wear to case.
