Louis XVI Ormolu-mounted Boulle Clock and Bracket, late 18th century, gilt-brass fern finial above the boulle marquetry and ormolu-mounted case, chased brass dial set with blue and white enamel roman numeral shields, cut-steel hands, brass-framed dial door, resting on its original boulle-decorated wall bracket, eight-day count-wheel strike mechanism regulated by a brass-faced pendulum, clock ht. 24 1/4 in. Estimate $1,500-2,000 top of finial has old repair, some lifting and small losses to brass inlay work, over wonderful 18th century example.
