Enicar Sherpa Mark III Guide "Pepsi" Wristwatch, c. 1968, stainless steel case with the well preserved world time outer bezel, dual signed crosshatched crowns, red and blue "Pepsi" GMT inner bezel, applied lumed indices, rallye-style 24-hour hand, baton-style time hands, bright orange sweep center seconds, and red date wheel, with an original Enicar Beads-of-Rice bracelet, 44 mm. Note: Emma Racine-Blatt proposed an anagram of the family name Racine and in January of 1914 Enicar was born. When the AR1126 caliber was introduced it allowed the Sherpa Guide line of watches with the dual crowns to be launched. The watch was serviced by Sean Yates of About Time in June of 2017. Estimate $1,200-1,800 overall in wonderful condition with crisp unfaded dial and bezels, currently winding setting and ticking. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
