Blanc-de-Chine Censer, China, 18th/19th century, cylindrical form with horizontal ribs, the central band with an impressed motif of archaic and scrolling patterns, ht. 3 3/8, dia. 4 3/4 in. Provenance: Mary Andrews Wolff Collection; then by descent to the present owner. Estimate $600-800 minor glazing flaws with pockmarks and clay impurities, firing cracks to bisque base.
