Gilt-bronze Figure of Tsongkhapa, Tibet, seated cross-legged on a double lotus throne, with hands in dharmachakra mudra, dressed in monk's robe and hat, hollow base, ht. 7 in. Provenance: A private collection acquired some time ago from several New England galleries. Estimate $1,500-2,500 minor gilt losses, patina to back and base.
