James Yarbrough (American (Georgia), contemporary). "Survivors", etching on wove paper, one pencil signed lower right and the others pencil monogrammed lower right. Dark figural etching in four sequential panels depicting a post-apocalyptic genre scene with several figures grouped at lower right before a vast field filled with ruined cars and fallen electrical wiring, a second group of grotesque figures balancing nude on the barren branches of a tree above looking down with one holding a fishing pole with dangling hook, perhaps "fishing" for souls from the great beyond. Overall framed approximately 28.25" x 48.25". Each panel sight size approximately 20.25" x 8.25".
