Three Staffordshire Historical Blue Transfer-decorated "Welcome Lafayette the Nation's Guest" Jugs, James and Ralph Clewes, Cobridge, England, c. 1824-36, (cracks, chips, repairs), ht. to 6 3/4 in. Estimate $300-500 smallest jug is with repaired cracks and abrasions to the handle, jug with scalloped rim with restoration to the bottom of the handle and spout and rim flakes, large flat-rimmed jug with allover cracks and chips.
