Vernon Howe Bailey (American, 1874-1953) Five City Scene Pen Drawings: Statue of Gen. Sherman, Central Park Entrance at 5th Ave and 59th St.; 42nd Floor, Waldorf, Looking NW; Ashbury Park; Canal Street; Entrance to Manhattan Bridge. Signed l.r., ranging in date from 1934-1936, all with additional detailed inscriptions identifying the locations. Ink on paper, sizes to 22 x 15 in., two matted, unframed. Condition: Gently light-struck, grime and smudging to margins and some edges of images, minor staining, small scattered areas of whiting outside of images, minor creasing, few tack holes to corners. Estimate $20-200 Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
