Painted Ceramic Brush Washer, China, in the shape of a bamboo internode with a flattened side as the base, decorated with an applied bamboo stalk and a cicada painted in colors, two seals, one reading "Zong Yuan," ht. 2 7/8, wd. 4 7/8, dp. 3 3/4 in.
