Thangka Depicting Vajrabhairava, Tibetan China, 19th century, the bull-headed deity standing on a lotus stand with his consort, enclosed in a flaming aureole, against a dark blue ground with five other seated deities, with a descriptive inscription for each deity, distemper on cotton, framed and glazed, sight size 31 1/4 x 18 3/4 in. Estimate $500-700 not examined out of frame, extensive pigment losses along creases. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
