Early Black-painted Oak and Pine Tavern Table with Drawer, New England, early 18th century, the molded top above a crease-molded apron and single drawer above applied pendant decoration joining turned legs and square stretchers with molded sides, (imperfections), ht. 26 1/4, wd. 32 1/2, dp. 17 in. Provenance: Lillian Cogan, 1979. Estimate $1,200-1,500 some of skirt decoration replaced, old insect damage to interior of skirt. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
