Red- and Black-painted Clothes Press, possibly French Canada, late 18th century, the molded cornice above two large cupboard doors opening to shelves, on molded bracket base, (imperfections and restoration), ht. 71 1/2, wd. 51, dp. 21 in. Estimate $1,500-2,500 one panel in door replaced, upper left cornice molding replaced, escutcheons replaced, shelves inside are new. one drop from bracket missing.
