British, Late19th century/Early 20th century. Infantry sword (likely Edward VII) with engraved blade with scrolled foliate, crown, monogramming and heraldic shield motif, marked with presumably the maker within star at end of blade above ornate pierced hand guard. Dark brown alligator grip bound with a single strand of twisted metal wire. Item with fitted metal scabbard with rings for holder. Length of sword in scabbard approximately 40".
