Finely rendered and detailed military diorama (circa 1941) depicting two British Special Air Service (SAS) soldiers--one standing at full length with pistol next to customized jeep with Vickers machine gun, the other figure resting on a type 1 German Tiger tank, likely somewhere in North Africa. Desert like terrain with scattered green brush and rocks, handled suitcase and other debris. Rendered in 1/35 scale. Raised on a wooden base protected by clear enclosure. Protective box approximate height 8.25" x 12.5" square.
