Second edition with Beroaldo's commentary of The Golden Ass, (the only Latin novel to survive antiquity in its entirety), folio, text in roman letter with surrounding commentary, fine woodcut compartment surrounding dedicatory epistle, woodcut printer's mark on colophon leaf; capital strokes in red, title in a display gothic letter, contemporary marginal annotations; some worming, title page mounted, some damp stains, bound in modern full calf, 11 7/8 x 8 in.
