Peary, Rear Admiral Robert Edwin (1856-1920) Autograph Letter Signed, 2 June 1915. Folded octavo bifolium inscribed over four pages, a handwritten letter addressed to Ernest Lester Jones (1876-1929), hydrographic and geodetic engineer and Superintendent of the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey, working under the Department of Commerce (1915-1929), written on Army and Navy Club letterhead, concerning an upcoming address for the Chinese commissioners sponsored the Mayor's Committee and the Chamber of Commerce of New York, and listing his New York addresses for that space of time, hoping to connect, in good condition, text and signature in a bold black ink, 9 1/2 x 7 3/4 in.
